Package:

  • Basic: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Bonus: £14,000 per annum OTE
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm
  • NO WEEKENDS

 

We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as an Assistant or Service Manager within a main dealer environment
  • Volkswagen Accredited, would be an advantage
  • Possess good technical knowledge with ability to work under pressure and adhere to time scales
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and use your own initiative when faced with challenges
  • Motivational and strong leadership skills
  • Adaptability to carry out tasks outside of their usual duties and flexible to meet business needs
  • Extensive knowledge of CDK desirable, although training will be given
  • Professional and courteous manner

 

Job Description:

  • Hold efficient and productive meetings
  • Ensure all aftersales staff attend essential Volkswagen training courses and the correct records of training are maintained
  • Work to constantly improve the quality of customer service
  • Monitor workshop productivity and the effective use of labour
  • Ensure the aftersales department is adequately staffed in order to achieve departmental objectives and provide a prompt service to customers
  • Maintain stock levels, monitor the parts inventory and anticipate future parts needed, ensuring all stocks and services purchased for resale are monitored and sold at a profit
  • Ensure all outstanding debts are collected promptly
  • Work closely with the sales department to ensure all vehicle buyers become aftersales customers
  • Handle dissatisfied customers calmly, resolve complaints with sensitivity, and involve others when needed
  • Monitor warranty claims submissions, credit account applications and credit facilities.
  • Ensure the correct maintenance / calibration of tools, equipment and other materials in the aftersales department
  • Operate within the law at all times, ensure all health and safety legislation and internal procedures are followed
  • Ensure the correct recycling of all disposed and damaged items in line with environmental regulations

But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
